**Haramakis were originally stomach protectors, made from leather strips and small metal plates, worn by samurais. Nowadays, they are constructed from a variety of textiles and function as stomach warmers which are worn underneath clothing. They are immensely popular with the elderly (some even worn year-round), but it is common to see them being worn by people of all ages in particularly cold weather.**

**One Piece fans out there might recognize the green haramaki Roronoa Zorro often wears as part of his attire.**

Cold Event exchange items can be further synthesized by an NPC located in Megalopolis.
There is a 100 Galder synthesis fee for every Wool Haramaki Button.
There is a 200 Galder synthesis fee for every Cashmere Haramaki Button.

Christmas Event
**Projected for 12/20/06-12/27/06**

NPCs:
Event NPCs are located in Event Garden - Ceremonia and Snow Hill Field1. Also during this time, a special warp NPC Rudolph is located in Snow Hill and will provide warp service to either Paradise or Blooming Cora for the cost of 1 Galder.

Special warp NPC Rudolph will also provide warp service between Megalopolis Square and Snow Hill for the cost of 1 Galder.

The max depth of Snow Hill Field1 and 2 has been changed to 20m, active monsters on these maps have been made non-active, and drilling will no longer yield equips nor fossils. These changes will remain in effect only for the duration of the event.

**The "White Snow" skill creates a falling snow effect when activated.**

**It's interesting how the Trickster Team continues to cast Witch La Befana in a negative light, considering LaBefana is the good Christmas Witch in Italy. On Epiphany, she leaves presents for all the good children, and coal for the bad ones. Sounds vaguely familiar.**

Grab-Bag Event

Obtaining Grab-Bags:
A Grab-Bag Exchange Ticket (from the Christmas Event) can be given to NPC Rosemary, located in Megalopolis and Carbigal Shops, in exchange for a random Grab-Bag. Unused Grab-Bags and Grab-Bag Exchange Tickets will expire and disappear from your inventory several days after the event ends.

Double-clicking a Grab-Bag will yield three of the following equips, which are pre-determined by the Grab-Bag type.

**There is an aspect to this event I don't quite understand. Quite a few notes were devoted to

. The verb "waku" translates as "to boil; to grow hot; to get excited" according to my Japanese-English dictionary. I'm not really sure what any of those verbs have to do with the monsters in this event. My best guess is it has something to do with how they aggro. If someone can help me crack this mystery, I'd be grateful.**

**Ennui is a persistent feeling of weariness or dissatisfaction. As you probably guessed, it's French. The key here is that "ennui" is much more than just boredom: it's like boredom on steroids. No, wait. Steroids suggests activity of some sort.... I got it. Imagine if boredom could be emo. Everything sucks, nothing is fun - that's "ennui."**

**The other monsters are meant to be the opposite I think. I translated it as "noisy" but I suppose it could easily have been "lively" or "spirited" instead.**

I hope tehy will put a nice event when the servers are back and I think they will put a thanksgiving event only for global user (like maplestory last year thanksgiving event it was only for maple global i think)
