Buffalo Skill Build Guide

This was taken from the Japanese Wiki (This is different from the other thread), and I put the known official names into english.

http://tswiki.sakura.ne.jp/index.php...A6%C0%EF%BB%CE

If you cross post this build, please don't try to take credit for it. Please cite the Wiki.

TMLvl | SkillName | Raise Skill To...

1	|Shockwave: |Level 1
10 |Bullseye: |Level 1
20 |Burning Rave: |Master
28 |Pumping Heart: |Level 10
39 |Shockwave: |Master
47 |Shockvibe: |Level 8

That will take you to 2nd job change.
After this some of the names are Jpn. Translations
since no one knows the English versions.

51 |Knockdown |(passive)
55 |Shockvibe: |Master
64 |Bulleye |Level 10
67 |Pumping Heart: |Master
69 |Bullseye: |Master
85	|Blade Forth(TM85Skill)(jpn) |Master
99	|Stray Toss Ray(TM60Skill)(jpn) |Master
114	|Burandeitsushiyusurei(110)(jpn) |Master
This skill build does not use anything else except what is listed. From what little I could translate they do NOT recommend getting Upper or Tornado, since they have limited uses at higher levels. Shockwave is to be maxed in order to take advantage of the 2nd job skill "Knockdown". This skill adds a stun effect to Shockwave and is useful since I can also be used on bosses. The skill shockvibe is one of the Buffalo's skills which lowers the monster's stats. Shockvibe is usually considered the best of these skills since it drastically lowers the monsters Accuracy.

Take any advice given with a grain of salt as I am merely parroting information. As of this writing, I currently am only 51 on eTO and have not played a 2nd Job character on jTO. While I believe my advice is at least somewhat accurate, I may be entirely wrong. I am positive that the skill build was translated correctly, as you can verify with the source, but the technical reasons for using this setup the way it is, is still unverified. Through my own reasoning, reading, and experimenting, I came to the conclusions which I stated above.

A final note, please do not ask questions such as "can I substitute this skill for such and such?" The answer is always YES. This is your character and not mine nor anyone else’s. Build it however you feel best.

Any questions, comments, speculation and insults are all welcome.

Edit: Yes I know I spelled the thread title wrong, forum sucks and it doesn't change
I also updated with TMLVLs and made it look nicer, Link to JPN wiki at top.

Of course you can, nobody is honestly making you follow this guide. But why use this guide if you are gonna skip some skills, you should just make your own custom build, which will probably fail horribly. On the otherhand it could be better than all the other guides out there, eh nvm.

Why would that be, i mean you are only a lvl 2X Bunny Assuming you haven't leveled up in the past 3 hours or played any other version of trickster and tried out all builds than came up with the conclusion that this is the worst. Old weeker skills? You FAIL(URE).
If you are saying just cause all the other skills are weeker and "old" that you can't come back to them and master them at the right time you should, than i wont be taking you seriously anymore.

Of course it will still miss, even on lower lvls things, its not like Bullseye brings your accuracy so high that you will never miss agian, what do you expect?

Bulleye will of course suck at low levels. It’s supposed to suck at low levels. When you master it in the game you will be in high levels. You obviously can make any changes to the build as you see fit, it is YOUR character remember. This is simply a guide, not the law.

Breakdown lowers your monster's ACC by a large percentage. It’s probably the best out of all of those stat attack skills. But like I said, do whatever you choose to do, this is simply a recommendation.

My n00b question:

Why get shockwave AND burning rave?

Burning rave does superior damage with a shorter casting/cooling time. However, I'm not really sure about the mp consumption.

It appears to me that Burning rave is superior than shockwave in every way, why get both when you can get just burning rave and use those skill points for another skill?

I just checked. Shockwave mastered requires 80 mp whereas burning rave requires 40.

You get a 2nd job level skill called "Knockdown". This is a passive skill that adds a stun effect to the skill Shockwave and apperently it is very helpful when fighting bosses. I'm not sure if the dmg is increased or not. I really can't say much more since I'm parroting information.

I got a couple of questions;

-When they will release the 2nd jobs, will you be able to put tm points into 1st job skills?I dont really feel like mastering SW right now, since it's only good side is at 2nd job.

-No quick action?Would be awsome to buff with pumping heart & bull's eye

-Do the status weaken skills(ie:breakdown, shockvibe)even work on bosses?I heard they don't :/.That would be pretty useless.

Question Question...

When you put master, do you really mean 'master' it or 'max' it?

I believe he means mastering it, otherwise it would say 'Level 10'
